Making threats to blow a house up and other recent Hartlepool court cases

The following cases from the Hartlepool area were dealt with recently at Teesside Magistrates’ Court:

Nicola Hunter, 45, of York Road, Hartlepool, was fined £40 after admitting one count of failing to comply with a suspended sentence by undertaking telephone appointments between March 24-May 20.

David Albert Peterson, 52, of Cornwall Street, Hartlepool, was ordered to pay £252 compensation after he was convicted of theft and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour on January 25 and again on February 21.

Wayne Kenneth Metcalfe, 29, of Seventh Street, Blackhall, was ordered to pay an £80 fine, £34 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting driving without a valid licence on December 8.

Anthony John Sabin, 37, of Masefield Road, Hartlepool, received a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £20 compensation after he admitted theft, going equipped for theft and causing criminal damage on August 31, 2019 and failing to surrender to custody on September 17, 2019.

Kirsty Louise Dawn Styles, 30, of Suggitt Street, was placed on a community order and ordered to pay £150 compensation, £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting making threats to blow a house up and making threats to set fire to a car, both on February 17, assaulting a police officer on May 9 and being drunk and disorderly on May 10.

Daniel George Cooper, 30, of Joicey Court, Hartlepool, was banned from driving for 36 months and ordered to pay a £300 fine, £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting drink driving, failing to stop when required to do so and driving through a red light on May 29.

Kayleigh Louise Bayliss, 35, of Rosthwaite Close, Hartlepool, was banned from driving for 24 months, placed on a community order and ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting drink driving on May 19.
