Plea to find rider after off-road bike used for anti-social behaviour
On Sunday, January 12, PCSOs from Peterlee Neighbourhood Police Team were tasked to Shotton Colliery following reports of anti-social use of an off-road bike along Shotton lines and Hawthorne Terrace.
A statement on the Peterlee Police Facebook page said: “Whilst officers were not able to stop the rider they were able to utilise DNA captor spray on the rider.

Those who may know who the rider is are asked to message Peterlee Police directly or to contact Peterlee Neighbourhood Team on the non-emergency number 101 to help them with their inquiries.
On the same day, officers also attended Shotton Colliery to speak to a “vulnerable elderly couple” after their car was deliberately covered in mud by someone on an off-road bike.
