What Mail readers think of Lockdown 3 restrictions as tougher measures not ruled out

The third national lockdown was announced by Mr Johnson on Monday, January 4 with families once again instructed to stay at home to protect the NHS and save lives, leaving the house only for essential reasons.
These include travelling to work when you cannot work from home, to shop for food and essential items and for exercise once a day.

Hide AdScotland has toughened its restrictions to include reducing click and collect services to only those deemed essential from Saturday, January 16.
The Prime Minister said he would not rule out imposing stricter rules in England, if required.

John Daly: “No. Just follow the rules that are in place. There may be a lot of confusion over clarity, but we can all use common sense on this. The very basics too, of wearing a face covering where required and giving people space, will be a huge help.”

Eileen Brooks: “Yes. But you will still get all the stupid people that think the rules don’t apply to them or they just don’t understand the rules no matter what they are! Quite simply stay home, wear a mask, social distance when you have to go out for essential reasons.”
