Warning issued after abandoned car falls from cliffs in landslide
An investigation has been launched after an abandon car fell from a cliff at Easington Colliery.
Hartlepool Coastguard Rescue Team were alerted to then incident by Humber Coastguard at 4.27pm today.
On arrival, the team realised it was the same car, which had been seen abandoned earlier in the week.
The car had plunged onto the beach below following a substantial landslide.
A coastal erosion form was completed and sent it to the coastguard operations room and other agencies.
