Hartlepool weather forecast: Day-by-day forecast as heavy rain set to end the sunny spell
The region enjoyed some of its warmest days of the year over the past week with clear, sunny skies across the North East.
Temperatures regularly surpassed 20°C though things are now expected to cool down.
Monday and Tuesday’s outlook

Hide AdThe Met Office forecasts that temperatures will drop below the 20°C during the early part of this week though the sunny weather should continue.
Conditions will remain clear throughout Monday with ‘sunny intervals’ expected on Tuesday.
After a sunny evening on Monday, conditions will remain dry though a few mist and fog patches may develop during the early hours of Tuesday morning with a low of 7°C.
Sunderland, South Shields and Hartlepool will see temperatures in the mid to high teens during both days with a high of 18°C.

Hide AdThe weather remains fairly consistent across the region with Northumberland seeing highs on Tuesday of 19°C though there is a 30% chance of scattered showers in the evening.
Wednesday onwards
Temperatures are expected to drop further on Wednesday with highs of just 13°C with the Met Office stating ‘heavy rain’ is forecast across the region.
The Met Office website states: “Wednesday will be cloudier with some rain, and feeling cool. Breezier on Thursday but largely dry, whilst Friday will see showers and sunny spells.”
Over the weekend, temperatures will continue with steady highs of 12-13°C and sunny intervals on Saturday and overcast conditions with light showers set for Sunday.
