Here’s how some supporters reacted on social media:
@weareboro: Never, ever would have backed us to go to Millwall and get a result on the back of the two previous games. No two games are alike with this Boro team. To a man they were superb today. Slated Shotton a lot in the past but he was absolutely immense all game.
@Smithy_MFC84: Swallowing my words from pre- kick-off! Full credit to Warnock today, got his team selection and tactics spot on. It was like night & day in contrast to the last two games, the team looked balanced and every man did their job.
@justcalledtosay: Tough to pick a MOTM or a top 3...any of Shotton, Stojanovic, Saville, Spence. Basically anyone whose name begins with an S..

Just goes to show, like a lot of Boro fans have said this season, the wing backs system suits us best.
@kcboro99: We looked solid. Shotton did very well. Spence makes a difference, always thought we’re more suited to three at the back and wing backs.
@Smogg74: Would like to think we could keep Neil Warnock for one last Job before he retires, if he got us promoted he’d go down in Boro folklore
@Emmo289: Howson has played in midfield twice and we've won both games. Keep him away from right full back, he's wasted
@oculargravy: Great team performance and a deserved 2-0 Victory. Immense performances from Spence, Shotton & Stojanovic
