Hartlepool United’s unbeaten away start to the National League season ended with a 2-0 defeat at Solihull Moors.

Dave Challinor’s side were controversially reduced to 10-men in the first half as Timi Odusina was given his marching orders for a challenge on Jamey Osborne.

Gavan Holohan twice came close for Pools but in the second half, goals from Krystian Pearce and James Ball saw the Moors claim victory at Damson Park.
