A front tyre was also deflated when police arrived. The value of the damage came to £4,365.
An allegation that the defendant also assaulted the owner of the car was dismissed and a not guilty verdict was recorded.
Mcclelland, now of Manor Drive, Bradford, was granted bail by the court but must return for sentencing next month.
A pre-sentence report will be prepared in the meantime to help magistrates decide what punishment to impose.
