The Sunderland Airshow 2018 begins at 4pm on Friday, kicking off a weekend of events which will pull in thousands upon thousands of visitors to the city's coastline.
Here's a full run down of the programme for opening night:
4pm - the event site opens
4pm to 5.50pm - Introducing Stage at Cliffe Park
Featuring local acts Olivia Glover, Liam Kendal, Channy Thompson, Beth Macari ,He Knows, She Knows, Geoff Mull and Jennison
