Man taken to hospital after car crashes into fence near popular Hartlepool golf course

Police were called to a crash on Hart Lane at 3.20pm, near to High Throston Golf Club, involving a white Renault Trafic car.
The driver was taken to hospital as a precaution after sustaining minor injuries.

Hide AdThe road was said to be partially blocked while the emergency services are at the scene, which led to traffic building in the area, but the road was not closed.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: “We received a report of a one-vehicle collision on Hart Lane at 3.20pm.
“The incident involved a white Renault Trafic which had crashed into a fence between the stretch of road from High Throston Golf Club and the Tesco store at Throston.
“The driver was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“He sustained minor injuries.”
