This is when Neil Warnock will start to put pressure on Middlesbrough transfer targets
The Boro boss says he will start pressing for answers from early next week and if they don’t want to come then he will swiftly move on to other targets, with no time to lose.
The experienced manager was this week confirmed as the permanent Boro boss after leading the club to Championship safety in his eight games in charge after replacing Jonathan Woodgate.

“I think next week, from Monday onwards, I’m going to start putting pressure on people and if they don’t want to come I’ll leave alone.
“But we do need quite a few, we need down the spine of the team one or two leaders and talkers.
“We’ve got a very unbalanced squad but there are some good young lads there, they just need a little bit of help, not just from me but from the people on the field as well so I’m hoping to conjure up two or three experienced players to fit in with the younger lads.

“I love being on the training ground with the players and I’d love to think I could make one or two better players as well,” he told the BBC.
Warnock added: “I can’t see me spending fortunes. I think we’ll generate income probably more than what I spend.
“I’ve never been one for throwing money away, it’s just trying to get value for money and the right players down the spine of the team, that’s what I’m looking for but they are not easy to find.”
