Hartlepool United's squad evaluated and assessed:
![Arrives at Pools after an indifferent campaign for National League rivals AFC Fylde but seems like the type of player who should be well-suited to Sarll's system. ![Pools are looking strong in forward areas but Sarll suggested he would still like one or two new additions. Cover for Dieseruvwe, providing he stays, seems logical; Pools were a blunt instrument when he was ruled out for a month just after Christmas last season. Solihull's Mark Beck, who stands at six feet five, is rumoured to have caught Sarll's eye and would be a move that makes a lot of sense given his links to the local area, having been born in Sunderland and represented Darlington on two separate occasions. A lot will depend on what formation Sarll is planning to play, although it's likely the boss will be keen to have some room for manoeuvre, but a winger would be a welcome addition to the squad. Local lad Ellis Taylor remains available and is set to become a free agent at the end of the month following his release from Sunderland.](https://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/webimg/b25lY21zOmYzNzY2YmM1LTA2ZjItNGExYi1iMjIxLTEwOTcyZjdlZTg2NToyNGEzMGZjNS0xZDAxLTRmM2MtYjQ2My03YzI4MjQxMTZhYjc=.jpg?crop=3:2&trim=&width=640)
